The festival of lights, Diwali, was celebrated on 17th October 2025 with great enthusiasm and joy at St. Karen’s Primary School. The special assembly began with a serene prayer ,highlighting the victory of good over evil and light over darkness. Students presented speeches, songs and vibrant dance performances that spread joy, love and festive spirit. Beautiful decorations of diyas, rangolis and colourful displays enhanced the celebration. The message of celebrating eco-friendly Diwali by lighting lamps of kindness instead of bursting crackers was conveyed through meaningful skits. Students also showcased their creativity through diya decoration, toran making and paper crafts related to Diwali and Chhath Puja. The event concluded with a pledge to spread light responsibly and keep the surroundings clean. It was truly a memorable celebration reflecting unity, creativity and the true essence of Diwali—“Let’s sparkle with goodness, not just with lights!”
