From the crown of my head to the soles of my feet;
I give to you Lord my being complete,
For guidance and wisdom throughout this day,
Every step that I take, every word that I say,
Cause me to meet the ones I should see,
Help me to speak the words that I say,
Keep me from folks whoever they be
Unless I can help them or they can help me.
Help me treat others as I’d have them treat me.
And as I forgive others dear Lord forgive me.
Temper each word and act with the love.
And give me the wisdom that comes from above.
I thank thee dear God for life, home and love
For food, raiment and loving Parents-gifts from above.
For your guidance and grace to save me from sin
For life everlasting through your Holy name.
Our father, who art in heaven,
hallowed be thy name;
thy Kingdom come,
thy will be done
on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread,
and forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass,
against us;
and lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.
Bless us, O Lord, and these your gifts which we are about to receive from your bounty.
Lord of wisdom,
Bless me with confidence and courage
As I approach my examination.
Help me, please,
That my memory may not fail me
As I strive to answer my paper
To the best of my ability,
Bless my hard work with good fruits, I pray!
Help me, Lord to love Thee more
Than I ever loved before
In my work and in my play
Be Thou with me through the day
Our Father in Heaven, We thank you for the gifts you have given us all through this day.
