St. Karen’s Primary School inaugurated Health and Hygiene week on 23 rd September 2025, with the theme, “Healthy Habits Today, Happy Life Tomorrow.” The opening day was filled with enthusiasm as students and teachers pledged to follow cleanliness, unity and good health.
Interactive activities like action songs, skits by teachers and lively discussions highlighted the importance of hygiene, balanced diet and wellness. Special workshops for girls “Understanding Myself”encouraged self-care and confidence, while reflection sessions inspired students to adopt healthy practices at home as well.
The highlight of the day—Colour Lunch Boxes—encouraged students to enjoy a variety of fruits and vegetables in their daily meals. Children brought along “Fruit Rainbow Bowls” and veggie sandwiches, turning lunchtime into a colourful celebration of nutrition.
The inaugural day set a vibrant and inclusive tone, reminding all that small, colourful choices lead to a healthier, happier life.
