The 79th Independence Day at St. Karen’s Primary School unfolded in hues of saffron, white and green, echoing the theme “Nurturing Conscious and Spirited Citizens – The Karenite Way.” The tricolour danced with the breeze, while children’s tiny steps whispered unity and their vibrant moves to Jai Ho roared victory. Emerald and Ruby voices soared in patriotic harmony, Desh Rangeela splashed the stage with colour and the soulful Qawwali beat with the nation’s pulse. Dressed as freedom fighters, young patriots spoke of courage and sacrifice, bringing history to life.The celebration ended with the National Anthem, as every heart pledged to keep the flame of unity, courage and responsibility burning bright.
