Description: The students of St. Karen’s Primary School, Bld.No.5, Punaichak, Patna presented a Nukkad Natak on ‘Cleanliness’ in front of the school premises on Monday. The street play ‘CLEAN INDIA, GREEN INDIA’ highlighted the importance of keeping the surroundings and roads clean for the general hygiene of the residents. The play performed by the students of Class III & IV delivered dialogues with catchy slogans to draw the attention of the residents and educate the people how one should dump garbage in the garbage pit instead of littering it around and also to use dustbins to maintain a clean environment. The street play was the first of a series of programs to be presented by the children of the school to create awareness about Environment conservation, Hazards of pollution, Need for conservation of Water & Importance of trees. Over the period of the coming week, street plays, songs, speeches & slogans would be presented by the students of the school. The weeklong drive is the teamwork of the teachers namely: Ms Sumita, Ms Sangeeta, Ms Priyam, Ms Madhu, Ms Reena, Ms Chaitali, Mr. P.C.Jha, Mr. Patrick Phillips and Mr. Himanshu .
